CIS observers say cooperation with police important

PanARMENIAN.Net - Deputy chief of Armenian police Hunan Poghosyan met Jan 25 with a group of CIS observers led by Deputy CIS Executive Secretary Vladimir Gorkun.

Hunan Poghosyan briefed the guests on the functions and the priorities of RA police to ensure normal course of Armenian presidential elections, hailing the work carried out targeting improvement of the voter lists, training of police officers, etc.

Issues of mutual concern and assessment of the pre-electoral period were further discussed, with the need for close cooperation with the police stressed, press service of RA police reported.
