4.3-magnitude quake hits Iran, tremors felt in Armenia![]() January 29, 2013 - 11:24 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A 4.3-magnitude earthquake struck 13 km north-west of Iran’s Ahar city on January 28, 11.38 pm local time, with grade 2-3 jolts felt in Armenia’s Meghri city, press service of RA Ministry of Emergency Situations reported. The quake struck at 10 km depth, with grade 5-6 tremors reported in the epicenter. As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
