CANADIAN TV CHANNELS BROADCAST PROGRAMS DEDICATED TO ARMENIAN GENOCIDE AND NAGORNO KARABAKH

PanARMENIAN.Net - July 16-26 Canadian top TV Channels broadcast programs dedicated to the Armenian Genocide and Nagorno Karabakh, the state commission for organizing events dedicated to the 90-th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide reported. Prime Channel of Global TV Company broadcasting throughout Canada has presented a half-hour program of film director Rohano Fernando in the program entitled "Previous Lives" while CBC Newsworld showed a documentary about Nagorno Karabakh. The author of the film, Simon Reeve has shot Karabakh in the time of hostilities. He made the analysis of the conflict and stressed the strategic importance of Shushi for Armenians. The journalist visited Armenian families, made interesting investigations and conducted interviews with various people. To note, Mr. Reeve has also visited other conflict spots such as Somali, Abkhazia, Pridnestrovye, South Ossetia and Taiwan.
