Yerevan Mayor ready to discuss Yerevan metro expansion

PanARMENIAN.Net - Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan offered the head of EU delegation, Ambassador Traian Hristea to discuss the prospects of expansion of Yerevan metropolitan.

An agreement was reached to carry out a feasibility study for metro expansion, with the program also discussed with European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and Asian Development Bank.

A joint program is currently in progress, the efficiency of which was highly assessed.

In conversation with a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, head of Yerevan Municipality information and public relations department Artur Grigoryan noted it as a modernization program.
