Armenia’s Zvartnots named best airport in CIS![]() January 31, 2013 - 12:24 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The winners of over 20 nominations were announced on Jan 30 during Dubai-hosted 2nd edition of Emerging Airports Conference and Exhibition 2013, with Armenia’s Zvartnots named as the best in CIS. Armenia International Airports CJSC (Zvartnots) was earlier nominated for Emerging Markets Airports Award (EMAA) by Dubai-based Arabian Reach company. Moscow’s Domodedovo and Sheremetyevo airports, as well as Pulkovo Airport of Saint Petersburg and Manas International Airport of Bishkek also competed for the award. ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
