Armenia posts 13% tax revenue growth in 2012February 4, 2013 - 13:41 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian state budget revenues totaled AMD 939,4 bln in 2012, ensuring 100,3% implementation of government program, deputy minister of finance, chief treasurer Atom Janjughazyan said. According to him, state budget expenditures totaled AMD 951,7 bln in 2012., ensuring 97,1% implementation of government program. Annual expenditures of the state budget grew by 4% or AMD 37 bln as compared with 2011. Chief treasurer noted that taxes, state duties and compulsory social security contributions made up 93,5%, of the revenues, official grants totaling 1,3%. “The national budget was replenished with AMD 878,4 taxes in 2012, ensuring 100% of program implementation,” he said, adding that the revenues increased by AMD 101 bln (13%) as compared with 2011. Deputy minister Janjughazyan further said, 2012 state budget was fulfilled with an AMD 12,3 bln deficit, against the planned AMD 43,2 bln. Internal financing of budget deficits totaled AMD 8,6 bln, with the external financing making up AMD 3,8 bln.
