CBS orders "Second Sight" psychological thriller pilotFebruary 4, 2013 - 18:11 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - CBS has ordered a drama pilot from "Homeland" executive producer Michael Cuesta, TheWrap said. The pilot, "Second Sight" is based on the British series of the same name by Paula Milne. Described as a gothic psychological thriller, the pilot will follow a homicide detective who is going blind and turns his affliction into an advantage, using his heightened senses and intuition to solve crimes. Cuesta will write, direct and executive produce the pilot, with Gerald Questa ("L.I.E") also writing and executive producing. Milne will also executive produce the pilot, which comes from CBS Studios. Julie Weitz and Carol Mendelsohn ("CSI") are also on board as executive producers, with Nick Reed and Phil Goldfine serving as non-writing executive producers.
