Regional guide training center to open in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - The president of the World Federation of Tourist Guide Associations (WFTGA) Rosalind Newlands, accompanied by her deputy, will visit Armenia in March 2013 to discuss creation of a regional center for guide training.

In 2012, Armenia hosted 2 international seminars on tourism, which became a major precondition for opening of the center.

As Deputy Economy Minister Ara Petrosyan stated, a similar center is operating in Cyprus. "A guide training center will greatly boost Armenia's position in the region," the official said.
