Poet Hovhannes Grigoryan dies at 68

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian poet, translator, publicist and member of Writers’ Union of Armenia (WUA) Hovhannes Grigoryan died on Feb 7 morning of cancer.

Hovhannes Grigoryan was born in 1945, in Armenia’s city of Gyumri. He graduated from Yerevan State University, department of Mathematical Linguistics. He was the editor-in-chief of WUA 'Serund' electronic magazine and “Mihr” magazine. He wrote numerous articles on publicity and critique, translated and published in separate editions several works of Russian, English and Spanish writers. His own works were translated into English, French, Russian, Spanish, Persian, Arabian etc.
