EU center to cooperate with Armenian students![]() February 8, 2013 - 20:46 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The EU center in Armenia will cooperate with university and high schools students to raise awareness on EU projects in Armenia, the head of EU delegation, Ambassador Traian Hristea said. During Feb 8 meeting with diplomatic representatives and minister of education and science, Ambassador Hristea noted the center as part of EU-funded “Support to EU communication on reforms in Armenia” project. “Over 80 EU projects are in progress, aiming to foster development of human rights, culture and education in Armenia,” he said. The EU center, in partnership with ministry of education and science, is launching a new project, envisaging activities in schools and universities. The center will contribute to the creation of student exchange network. Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan, in turn, noted that the field in is need of new employees for the project implementation. As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed. David Vardanyan is the son of former Karabakh leader Ruben Vardanyan who who is currently imprisoned in Azerbaijan. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has met with Stephan Schütz, Executive Partner at Gerkan, Marg and Partners. The number of state universities will be reduced from 23 to 8 by 2030, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Zhanna Andreasyan has said. Partner news |
