ARMENIAN DEFENSE MINISTER VISITING ESTONIA

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Defense Minister Serge Sargsyan and a delegation from the ministry arrived in Estonia on an official visit. As reported by the press office of the Estonian Ministry of Defense. It is the first visit of the kind in history of Armenian-Estonian relations. The visit is a part of the NATO's Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP). During the visit negotiations with Estonian Defense Minister Jaak Joeruut, Chief of the Headquarters of the Estonian Defense Forces, Brigadier General Alar Laneman are scheduled to be held. Among the issues to be discussed is the development and the essence of the military reforms conducted in both countries, regional partnership and participation of Estonian and Armenian troops in international peace-keeping operations. The Armenian Defense Minister would visit the Baltic Military College on Thursday, and is scheduled to sign a joint memorandum on development of military cooperation between the two countries. Later Sargsyan would visit the Armenian Church in Tallinn and meet members of the Armenian Diaspora, IA Regnum reports.
