Chris Pine, Benedict Cumberbatch in “Star Trek Into Darkness” new pics

PanARMENIAN.Net - Two new images from Star Trek Into Darkness have been released, Digital Spy said.

The first picture shows Captain Kirk (Chris Pine) facing off with Benedict Cumberbatch's mysterious villain John Harrison, who is described as "a terrorist" and "a psychological master".

Kirk and Spock (Zachary Quinto) are shown in the second image, which appears to be from the same scene as several previously-released stills.

Director JJ Abrams has promised that the sequel to 2009's Star Trek will make its audience cry, while Quinto recently hinted that the new film puts its characters in more genuine peril than its predecessor.

The IMAX release date for the sequel has been moved forward to May 15, two days ahead of its wide release.
