Presidential candidate Hayrikyan to call for unification

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian presidential candidate Paruyr Hayrikyan will hold a concluding meeting on Feb 16 in Yerevan.

“This is a last chance to unite people and fight the fears and confusion. Otherwise, it will be late and people who have true faith that a change may occur will later regret,” Hayrikyan’s wrote on his Facebook page.

The presidential election in Armenia is set for February 18. 7 candidates will run for the post of Armenian president: Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), incumbent president Serzh Sargsyan, Heritage party chairman Raffi Hovannissian, leader of Freedom party, former prime minister Hrant Bagratyan, former foreign minister of Nagorno Karabakh Republic Arman Melikyan, National Self-Determination Union party head Paruyr Hayrikyan, Radio Hay director Andreas Ghukasyan and literature expert Vardan Sedrakyan.
