Police seize 90kg of marijuana in Russian region![]() February 18, 2013 - 15:35 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Police seized more than 90 kilograms (198 lbs) of marijuana from a man in south Russia’s Rostov region, the Federal Drug Control Service said on Monday, Feb 18, according to RIA Novosti. Drug enforcers received a tip-off that a 29-year old man was offering to sell three bags of marijuana. Officers posing as buyers bought over 90 kilograms of the drug and then found another five bags during a search of the man’s home. They also found a forged police ID, marijuana seeds and drug paraphernalia. The Federal Drug Control Service did not say when the incident took place. The drugs have a total estimated street value of more than 13 million rubles (about $400,000). The man has been arrested and faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted of dealing narcotics. Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
