Incumbent president Sargsyan gives thank-you speech

PanARMENIAN.Net - Incumbent president of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan gave a thank-you speech at a Republican Party of Armenia election headquarters.

“By making their choice Armenian people picked a way to a secure country, and I’m happy to accompany every citizen on this way,” Sargsyan said.

He further expressed gratitude to his electoral team and well as contenders, noting that it’s been an honor to run against them.

The incumbent president thanked the security service officers for protecting the right to freedom of expression to every candidate, and journalists for efficient coverage of the campaigns.

“Together, we’ll prove that our efforts are capable of bringing change in Armenia,” the incumbent president said, expressing hope for those who voted against him to respect the majority’s choice.
