Police fire tear gas to disperse demonstrators in Athens

PanARMENIAN.Net - Greek police fired tear gas to disperse demonstrators in Athens on Wednesday, Feb 20, as thousands of striking workers marched to parliament to protest austerity measures, according to Reuters.

The agency said its reporters saw riot police fire a few rounds of teargas during minor scuffles with hooded youths hurling rocks and bottles.
