LITHUANIAN PRESIDENT CONGRATULATED KOCHARIAN ON INDEPENDENCE DAY

PanARMENIAN.Net - Yesterday, September 21 Lithuanian President Valdas Adamkus congratulated Armenian President Robert Kocharian on a national holiday - the Independence Day. The Lithuanian leader hopes for Armenia and Lithuania to further work for supporting active and mutually beneficial relations. Besides, he hopes for the cooperation between the countries aimed at implementation of bilateral and multilateral initiatives will strengthen relations between citizens of those countries, will open regional development and economic welfare new opportunities. "It is pleasant to see the intense Armenia-EU dialogue. Lithuania has supported and will support EU efforts to strengthen relations with Armenia and develop European Neighborhood Policy with the South Caucasus," the message of Valdas Adamkus says.
