Former candidate offers to create national accord council![]() February 22, 2013 - 18:08 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Former Armenian presidential candidate Andrias Ghukasyan has offered to create a council of national accord. During Feb 22 rally, organized by Heritage party leader Raffi Hovannisian, Mr Ghukasyan voiced disagreement with the viewpoint claiming the ongoing struggle gradually causes public disagreement. “Honest political forces must take effort to build a strong country, instead of holding rigged elections,” he said, urging the ruling authorities to form an appropriate political system. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
