MP: parliament must voice its position on current situation

PanARMENIAN.Net - ARF Dashnaktsutyun and Heritage parliamentary groups’ proposal to hold a special meeting was discussed today, Feb 25 in National Assembly speaker Hovik Abrahamyan’s office.

Following the discussion, Heritage party’s parliamentary group leader Ruben Hakobyan stressed the need for the National Assembly to express a clear position on post-election developments in Armenia.

“We offered to hold a special meeting. Though the Republican Party of Armenia seems to accept the idea of holding a special meeting, a final decision must be taken to reveal the National Assembly’s stance on the current situation,” the MP said.
