Karabakh FM says there is chance for international recognition![]() March 4, 2013 - 14:33 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Foreign Minister of Nagorno Karabakh believes there’s a chance for the international recognition of the Republic, with the campaign currently in progress. “I’m confident that sooner or later Karabakh will become a recognized part of the international community, with the Republic’s recognition providing more favorable conditions for the settlement of the conflict with Azerbaijan,” Karen Mirzoyan told Echo of Moscow Radio Station. “Even if Armenia doesn’t recognize the NKR independence, the country will still stay true to the principles and ideas of the conflict settlement. Still, the recognition of Armenia, as well as other members of the international community would greatly promote the Karabakh settlement,” the official reiterated. ![]() ![]() The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington.
