Stepanakert airport will operate – Foreign Minister

PanARMENIAN.Net - The airport in Stepanakert will operate, thus ensuring Nagorno Karabakh people’s right to freedom of movement, Artsakh Foreign Minister said.

“I have explained the position of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic and in a letter circulated in the UN,” Karen Mirzoyan said in an interview with Echo of Moscow radio station.

“I can’t announce an exact day of opening. Our main goal now is to exclude any danger. As soon as all security conditions are met, the airport will be put into operation,” he said, adding that Azerbaijan continues to spread lies regarding the issue.
