Armenia to present CoE presidency program May 16![]() March 7, 2013 - 14:18 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia will submit its program on Council of Europe presidency on May 16, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian said. As he told a joint press conference with his Lithuanian counterpart Linas Linkevičius, the program will be specified next week, during Council of Europe Secretary General Thorbjørn Jagland’s visit to Yerevan. “We will hold a joint discussion with Mr Jagland on the priorities of the presidency,” Minister Nalbandian said, adding that Armenia will participate in a number of Strasburg-hosted events, including a cultural program. He further noted Armenian President’s visit to Strasburg as another important event. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
