Lithuanian FM expects progress in Armenia-EU talks![]() March 7, 2013 - 16:06 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Lithuanian Foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius has voiced hope that Armenia will report significant progress during the Vilnius-hosted Eastern Partnership summit, due in November. During a joint press conference with his Armenian counterpart Edward Nalbandian, he attached importance to the development of cooperation with EU. Lithuania’s Foreign Minister expressed hope for Armenia to have completed the Association Agreement and free trade area talks ahead of the summit. Armenia has repeatedly expressed hope that the Association Agreement talks will be completed by November. It’s noteworthy that on December 17, 2012, Armenia and EU signed visa facilitation deal in Brussels. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
