NATO PA Нead: South Caucasus States Move In Right Direction

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia have activated cooperation with the NATO and move in the right direction, President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Simon Lunn stated when addressing the Rose-Roth seminar of the NA of Armenia and the NATO PA. "Seminars of the kind indicate cooperation between the South Caucasus and NATO," he said. Armenian Ambassador to the NATO Samvel Mkrtchyan hoped for the Armenia-NATO Individual Partnership Action Plan to be launched in early 2006. In his words, Armenia is behind its neighboring states in this issue. However, in Mkrtchyan's words, Armenia is more consistent in fulfilling commitments and signed only those she is able to meet. In his words, in contrast Tbilisi and Baku have assumed commitments they are not able to fulfill.
