Armenian envoy attends landlocked developing countries’ meeting![]() March 13, 2013 - 13:13 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian ambassador to Japan Grant Pogosyan attended Laos-hosted meeting of landlocked developing countries (LLDCs). The meeting aimed to summarize the effectiveness of the implementation of Almaty Programme of Action in Eurasian landlocked countries, assess the challenges and offer solutions. Vientiane Consensus document was approved during the meeting, to be further presented at Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) session, due April 25-May 1 in Bangkok. The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington. The CSTO budget for the current year requires adjustments due to the refusal of Yerevan to pay their share of contributions. Six total incidents have burned 19 old-growth trees.
