“Sumgait: ordinary genocide” documentary screened in Egypt

PanARMENIAN.Net - “Sumgait: ordinary genocide” documentary was screened in Armenian embassy in Egypt, with representatives of political originations, NGOs, intellectuals and journalists present at the event.

Prior to the screening, Armenian ambassador to Egypt Armen Melkonian noted Sumgait pogroms as an initially planned crime by Azerbaijani authorities.

The envoy further described Azeri fake propaganda about Khojalu as Baku’s goal to evade responsibility for Armenian massacres in Baku, Kirovabad, Maragha, etc.
