Armenian envoy presents credentials to Slovak President

PanARMENIAN.Net - On March 20, Armenian ambassador to Slovakia Tigran Seyranyan (residence in Prague) presented his credentials to President of Slovakia Ivan Gašparovič. President Gašparovič hailed the friendly relations between the two countries, voicing hope that the newly-appointed envoy will contribute to the expansion of cooperation.

Ambassador Seyranyan, in turn, pledged to further develop Armenian-Slovakian relations.

Armenia’s European integration process, high-level visits, Armenia-Slovakian political dialogue, bilateral economic cooperation, Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement and regional issues were further discussed.

The envoy voiced gratitude for Slovakian parliament’s recognition of the Armenian Genocide.

Ambassador Seyranyan later met with high-level officials, with issues of mutual interest discussed, RA MFA press service reported.
