Russian defense ministry’s delegation in Armenia![]() March 21, 2013 - 12:42 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Russian delegation led by assistant to Russian Defense Minister, General-Lieutenant Valeriy Yevnevich arrived in Armenia on a working visit. General-Lieutenant Valeriy Yevnevich met with Armenian armed forces general staff chief Yuri Khachaturov and first deputy defense minister David Tonoyan, with defense cooperation agenda, as well as Gyumri-based Russian military base discussed. The Russian delegation will further visit Gyumri military base, RA defense ministry’s press service reported. As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed. David Vardanyan is the son of former Karabakh leader Ruben Vardanyan who who is currently imprisoned in Azerbaijan.
