Kocharian: EU Can Play Important Role in Karabakh Settlement

PanARMENIAN.Net - The European Unioncan play an important role both in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement and in the process of honoring the commitments undertaken during the negotiations. The RA President Robert Kocharian stated it yesterday in Brussels upon completion of the meeting with EU High Representative for EU Common Foreign and Security Policy Javier Solana. In his turn Mr. Solana expressed hope that the parties will take the possibilities for the resolution of the conflict and said the EU is ready to promote the process. Javier Solana and Robert Kochrian they talked like "old friends" and focused at two principal matters, these being the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement and the Armenian-EU relations within the New Neighborhood Policy, Mediamax reported.
