Criminal case instigated against armed man trying to enter parliament

PanARMENIAN.Net - Under Article 316 of Armenia’s Criminal Code, a criminal case has been instigated against citizen Vrezh Galstyan, who earlier on March 22 made an attempt to enter the parliament building.

Vrezh Galstyan, armed with a knife, made an attempt to enter the parliament reception. The security officers warned him against entering the parliament; however he continued his way forcing the police to open fire. As a result, the citizen was wounded when trying to escape. Parliament health service employee was the first to offer him medical assistance. Galstyan was later taken to Yerevan’s N 1hospital, State Medical University spokesperson said. As Victoria Anikina told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, he was taken the resuscitation department with a gunshot wound in the thigh.
