Tavush province residents undergo free fluorographic examination![]() March 25, 2013 - 12:10 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On March 22-24, Youth Foundation of Armenia, jointly with the Student Council of Yerevan State Medical University (YSMU) implemented “Armenia without TB” project in Tavush province. During the three-day project the inhabitants of the border villages (Aygepar, Chinari, Nerkin Karmirakhbyur, Movses, Aygedzor) of Tavush provicne underwent free medical examination by fluorographic centers. Vazgen Mkrtchyan, YSMU student council member, said a lot of village residents suffered from cardiovascular health problems. Projects of this kind will henceforth bear a continuous nature particularly in Armenian provinces. The project also featured seminars about tuberculosis, its treatment and prevention, Youth Foundation’s press service reported. ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
