Monitoring of the Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan Armed Forces Contact Line

PanARMENIAN.Net - On October 25, in accordance with the agreement achieved beforehand with the NKR authorities, the OSCE Mission held a planned monitoring of the Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan armed forces' contact line to the east of the settlement of Talish of the NKR Martakert region. Two single shots were made by the Azerbaijani party before the monitoring started but they did not hamper the OSCE representatives to realize their mission. From the positions of the NKR Defense Army, the monitoring mission was led by Field Assistants of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Miroslav Vimetal (the Czech Republic), Harry Eronen (Finland) and Yuri Aberle (the Czech Republic). The monitoring passed in accordance with the planned schedule. From the Karabakh party, representatives of the NKR Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense accompanied the OSCE monitoring mission, reported the Press Service of the NKR MFA.
