Matthew McConaughey to topline Christopher Nolan's "Interstellar"?March 29, 2013 - 16:06 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Matthew McConaughey has reportedly been offered the lead role in director Christopher Nolan's upcoming picture Interstellar. As Digital Spy revealed,citing Deadline, the Magic Mike actor is being lined up to play the role of Cooper in the sci-fi movie. Interstellar is said to have been inspired by physicist and relativity expert Kip S Thorne's scientific theory that wormholes exist and can be used for time travel. The film intends to depict a heroic interstellar voyage to the farthest borders of our scientific understanding. The Dark Knight Rises director was first said to be in talks for Interstellar in January, when it was reported that he would be rewriting a script by his brother and frequent collaborator Jonathan Nolan.
