AGBU-AUA joint projects discussed in Artsakh![]() April 3, 2013 - 16:59 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On April 3, Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan met with the delegations of Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) and American University of Armenia (AUA). Implementation of a number projects in Artsakh were discussed during the meeting, with special attention attached to the spheres of education and science. President Sahakyan highlighted the foundation of AUA special education programs in Stepanakert, noting that they will foster the developing science and education in the republic, application of progressive international experience, further strengthening the Armenia- Artsakh-Diaspora trinity. Member of the AGBU Central Board Vasken Yacoubian, director of the organization’s Armenian Representation Arpi Vardanyan, AUA President Bruce Boghosian and other officials partook in the meeting, Central Information Department at Artsakh President's office reported. ![]() ![]() The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington.
