Poll: 44,5% of residents see an honest person as Yerevan mayor![]() April 5, 2013 - 16:08 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Sociometer center conducted a public opinion poll on March 29-30, ahead of Yerevan city council elections. “About 54% of voter turnout is expected during the elections, which exceeds the index recorded during the previous polls,” head of the center Aharon Adibekyan told a press conference. According to the survey, 44,5% of the residents see an honest person as Yerevan mayor, 40,5% think a skillful specialist should assume the post, and only 7,0% of the respondents see a politician at the post. 45,5% of the respondents have voiced readiness to go to the elections, 9,0% were still undecided, with 37,0% expressing reluctance. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
