Armenian Genocide 98th anniv. to be commemorated in French cities![]() April 7, 2013 - 18:02 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The 98th anniversary of the Genocide will be commemorated in all French cities that are home to the Armenian community. The commemorative events will kick off in Valence on April 19, with Paris to host a youth action on April 23. A rally will be held on April 24, with calls urging for the recognition of the Armenian Genocide to be issued. A torchlight procession will be held in Marseille on April 23, to be followed by a march to the Turkish consulate on April 24. The city’s high-ranking officials are expected to participate in the march, Nouvelles d`Armenie reported. A liturgy will be served in all Armenian churches on April 24. ![]() ![]() The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington.
