In his words, in compliance with bilateral agreements the 102nd Russian base promotes stability in the region. N. Baranov denied suppositions that the Russian base located in Armenia may be involved in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict in any way. «This will never happen,» he emphasized. The Russian base has the task of cooperation with Armenian Armed Forces, Baranov said.
