Prime Minister meets special envoy of Syria President

PanARMENIAN.Net - Acting Prime Minister Edward Nalbandian met with the special envoy of Syria’s President Adnan Hassan Mahmoud.

At the meeting, the envoy briefed the Armenian official on Syria crisis, efforts for disarmament of mercenaries and curbing of violence.

Nalbandian, in turn, expressed deep concern over the effects of the ongoing civil war and deteriorating humanitarian situation on the Syria population, including the country’s Armenian community.

In conclusion, Nalbandian expressed hope for the issue to be resolved through a dialogue, for peace and stability to return to Syria.
