He awarded to Greek Armenian Petros Gyurunian with a Mkhitar Heratsi medal for the outstanding service rendered to Armenia and contribution in the Armenian embassy in Athens. Kocharian briefed the Armenian community on the latest developments in the Karabakh conflict settlement process, as well as the political and economic situation of Armenia. On November 11, the president also met with the secretary general of the Greek Communist Party and members of the Leftist coalition. Besides, the Robert Kocharian will take part in the solemn opening ceremony of the new building of the Armenian Embassy in Greece.![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
