Lithuanian Armenians to participate in All-Armenian youth programs![]() April 12, 2013 - 18:51 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Acting Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan met with the head of Armenian community of Lithuania Arayik Tunian, with community-related issues on the agenda. Minister Hakobyan briefed on the ministry’s programs, voicing hope for Lithuanian Armenians to have active participation in the youth programs. An agreement was further reached to involve Armenian communities of other Baltic states in the initiatives. Upon completion of the meeting, Mr. Tunian invited Ms. Hakobyan to Lithuania to meet with Armenian community representatives. ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed. David Vardanyan is the son of former Karabakh leader Ruben Vardanyan who who is currently imprisoned in Azerbaijan.
