Armenia not mentioned in UN report on arms supply to Libya: MFA![]() April 15, 2013 - 14:07 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - No Armenian arms supply for Gaddafi was mentioned in the UN experts’ report on transfer of weapons to Libya, Foreign Ministry’s acting spokesman said. Tigran Balayan noted that Armenia is not mentioned in the report at all. “According to the report available on the UN website, NATO member-countries and private companies were involved in transfer of weapons to Libya, with two companies registered in Armenia included in the list. Armenia provided details about these companies to the UN experts,” Mr. Balayan said. Earlier publications suggested Armenia was among the countries which supplied weapons to the Gaddafi regime. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
