Hayastan All-Armenian Fund Collected Some $60 Thousand During Three-Day Phonothon in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - During an annual phonoton held within November 16-18 Hayastan All-Armenian Fund has gathered 27 million Armenian drams (some $60 thousand) of donations. As compared with the sum in 2004, the volume of donations have increased 12 million drams (some $26 thousand). The Fund employees have telephoned some 1.5 thousand small and medium enterprises of Armenia. According to the Fund report, a telethon is also planned to be organized in favor of Revival of Artsakh program. The means collected will be spent on restoration of Mardakert region of Nagorno Karabakh. It should be noted that November 17-20 a similar campaign was held by Hayastan Office in France. The donations made 300 thousand euros on the first day. During a phonothon in Argentina the donations amounted $50 thousand. The organization of a telethon in the US is close to the completion at present, reported IA Regnum.
