Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nine Inch Nails to headline Outside Lands FestApril 17, 2013 - 16:09 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Paul McCartney, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Nine Inch Nails will headline the sixth edition of Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park in the summer. The festival, which takes place Aug. 9 to 11, also will feature Phoenix, Pretty Lights, Vampire Weekend, Kaskade, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The National, D’Angelo and Jurassic 5, The Hollywood Reporter said. Other artists on the bill include Grizzly Bear, Daryl Hall & John Oates, Young the Giant, Band of Horses, The Head and the Heart, Yeasayer, Foals, Dawes, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Youth Lagoon, Gary Clark Jr., Kurt Vile and the Violators, Zedd, Smith Westerns and Dillon Francis. Additional acts will be announced in the coming weeks. McCartney, who has been announcing summer tour dates sporadically over the past few weeks, also is booked to headline Bonnaroo in June. NIN will headline Lollapalooza the weekend before Outside Lands and head to Voodoo Fest in New Orleans in early November. Last year’s festival featured headlining sets from Neil Young, Metallica, Jack White, Foo Fighters and Skrillex. Outside Lands also features curated Beer Lands and Wine Lands tents as well as food vendor booths from local restaurants.
