LG developing waterless washing machineApril 20, 2013 - 12:22 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Electronics manufacturer LG hinted it may be removing one of the essential ingredients needed for doing laundry: water. Although there's no patent or details available yet, LG's Senior VP for Home Appliances Kevin Cha told Engadget the company is developing a waterless washing machine, Mashable said. The company introduced a similar product, called the Styler, at CES. The cabinet-like device uses steam technology to reduce wrinkles and odors on clothing, especially useful for dry-clean only garments.
