Expert: sustainable development important for Artsakh’s security

PanARMENIAN.Net - Military expert Davit Jamalyan stressed the need for sustainable development of Artsakh to counter Azerbaijan’s provocations.

He noted the development of border-areas of Shahumyan, Qashatagh and Hadrut as guarantees of peace for future generations.

Editor-in-chief of Qashatagh-based newspaper Zohrap Erkoyan, in turn said that people residing in the province live a normal life.

He further attached importance to the cultural monuments, with over 30 standing and ruined churches located there.

“New churches are built in Armenia, with no steps taken to restore our historical buildings,” he said.
