Bayburdian and Chevalier Discussed Karabakh Conflict Settlement

PanARMENIAN.Net - November 24 Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Armen Bayburdian met with Belgium's special envoy to the OSCE, Senator Pierre Chevalier, reported RA MFA press office. A. Baydurdian welcomed the initiative of the future OSCE leadership to visit Armenia and stressed that the organization plays a positive role in regional peaceful processes, settlement of conflicts, crisis management, human rights protection and democracy establishment. For his part Mr. Chevalier noted that this visit will offer the opportunity to get familiarized with the positions of the member-states, their proposals and problems before assuming the OSCE presidency. By the guest's request Armen Bayburdian informed him of the current stage of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement. The parties also referred to the programs implemented by the OSCE Yerevan Office.
