Armenia welcomes Canada support for OSCE Minsk Group efforts

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Ambassador of Armenia to Canada Armen Yeganian met with the Foreign Affairs Senate Committee chair Raynell Andreychuk.

At the meeting, the parties discussed a number of political, economic and cultural issues, with Mr Yeganian further briefing Ms Andreychuk on Armenia’s steps in the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

In this context, the envoy stressed the importance of the OSCE Minsk Group’s mediatory efforts.

The parties also dwelled on Armenia-Turkey relations, with the importance of Canada's recognition of the Genocide emphasized.
