MP: Turkish intellectuals’ visits to Genocide Memorial inspire hope

PanARMENIAN.Net - Prosperous Armenia leader Gagik Tsarukyan, parliamentary group secretary Naira Zohrabyan, MP Vartan Oskanian and other party members visited the Armenian Genocide memorial complex on April 24.

Ms. Zohrabyan stressed the need for Armenia to achieve Turkish recognition of the Genocide.

“I saw several Turkish intellectuals visiting the Genocide memorial. Some Turkish intellectuals will hold commemorative events today as an apology. However, the country’s political elite dares not admit its guilt,” she said, stressing the importance of the Genocide compensation.
