Spokesman denies reports about deputy police chief’s resignation

PanARMENIAN.Net - The reports about deputy police chief Alexander Afyan’s dismissal are not true to fact, police spokesman said.

“I call on the media sources to refrain from publishing inaccurate reports about police staff shifts,” Ashot Aharonyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

According to Zhoghovurd daily, police chief Vladimir Gasparyan is planning to dismiss Alexander Afyan due to the latter’s taking sides with the State Security Service head Hrachya Harutyunyan during the incidents on the presidential inauguration day,
