Armenia-Customs Union cooperation possible, Lavrov says![]() April 25, 2013 - 16:25 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Russian Foreign Minister noted a progress in the work of committee studying the possibility of Armenia’s cooperation with the Customs Union (CU) and Unified Economic Space (UES). During a joint news conference with his Armenian counterpart Edward Nalbandian, Sergey Lavrov expressed hope for the memorandum of cooperation signed between the Eurasian Economic Commission and Armenian government to promote closer ties with the Customs Union, RIA Novosti reported. The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington. The CSTO budget for the current year requires adjustments due to the refusal of Yerevan to pay their share of contributions. Six total incidents have burned 19 old-growth trees.
